The Process Standard Offset (PSO) defines the industrial and standardized production of printed materials according to ISO 12647. Its purpose is to ensure consistent color reproduction in offset printing from data creation to the final print result. The assessment covers qualified color management, the creation of standard-compliant print simulations, standardized printing form production, and sheet-fed offset print runs.
Kern GmbH has been certified according to ISO 12647 since 2011. Certification is valid for two years and is then renewed through independent audits by Fogra and printing and media associations.
