ISO 9001 Quality management

  • DE EN ISO 9001:2015
  • Implemented since: 2014
  • Reg. No.: 60314217/3
  • Valid until: 29.03.2026

The ISO 9001 standard defines the minimum requirements for a quality management system, which is intended to ensure that both all necessary legal requirements and customer expectations are met. For this purpose, all company processes are identified, the corresponding procedural instructions are documented, and individual workflows are evaluated. These processes are continuously monitored in a continuous improvement process, further developed through internal quality audits, and regularly reviewed via external audits. Since April 2014, Kern has implemented a quality management system according to ISO 9001. Together with our EMAS III environmental management system, it forms part of an integrated management system (IMS).

What may initially seem like additional logistical effort actually leads to an optimization of production processes. This ultimately ensures an improvement in the quality of printed products and, consequently, higher customer satisfaction. Orders can be executed accurately, on time, and with a significantly lower error rate.
