We are expanding our team and are looking for a prepress technician (m/f/d) to start immediately, also available part-time. Relevant experience in prepress is required, in particular imposition.

We are also happy to support you with relocating to our region.

Your responsibilities

  • You mainly work in the technical area of prepress within a digital Heidelberg Prinect workflow.
  • You check and prepare PDF files for offset printing (PDF/X-3, PDF/X-4, color management according to the Process Standard Offset).
  • You make data adjustments according to customer requirements.
  • You perform digital imposition of print sheets.
  • You clarify the print feasibility of products in cooperation with the Customer Service, Press, and Postpress teams.

Your profile

  • You have completed vocational training as a digital and print media designer (m/f/d) or a comparable qualification.
  • You have several years of experience in prepress and relevant industry software.
  • You have a good eye for design and experience with DTP, graphics, and preflight programs (Adobe Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Enfocus PitStop).
  • You are open to new challenges and independently acquire new technologies and skills.
  • You work independently, in a solution-oriented manner, and with a strong focus on quality.
